Executive Team
Michael is a seasoned financial and capital markets professional. He previously held principal portfolio management and advisory roles with a $100mm family office venture debt fund. Michael also held senior executive positions at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and the Bank of Montreal (BMO). In 2017, Michael was the founder and general partner of Chaintech Digital, a blockchain-based digital asset fund.
Andrew brings deep blockchain engineering experience, having launched node and validator infrastructure on 20+ cryptonetworks since the inception of Proof of Stake. Previously, Andrew specialized in cybersecurity at Deloitte, and built network infrastructure for video streaming at Canada’s largest telecom.
Alex is an established leader in the blockchain and Web3 space with over six years of experience as an investor, consultant, and financial manager. Alex began his career working in private equity where he was directly involved with the diligence and underwriting of investment opportunities primarily in the real-estate space.
Alex spent 7 years as an investor at Touchdown Ventures (TDV), where he was responsible for the firm's enterprise software strategy. Before TDV, Alex helped Estee Lauder Companies (NYSE: EL) transform its corporate development strategy, executing several acquisitions/integrations including Le Labo, Frederic Malle, Dr. Jart+.
